Shirley Nunnally Powers Stembridge died, Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born in Sylvania, Georgia on November 25, 1937. She was a member of Savannah Christian Church, and assistant Team Leader for the Greeters of First Connection. She was a member of the “Red Hat Society” of Macon, Georgia. Her passions were her church, her grandchildren, and shopping.
She was a lung transplant recipient, and did volunteer work for Life Link.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Stembridge, her parents, Otis and Johnnie Nunnally, her brothers, Otis, Jr., and Jimmy Nunnally.

She is survived by her daughters, Rita Michael Owens, Pam Craig Anderson, Peggy Randy Griffith, and her son Thomas Shirley Stembridge, her grandchildren, Macy Owens, Paige Griffith, and Tyler, Blake, Hudson, and Joy Stembridge, also her brother, Brantley Nunnally and sister, Patty Danny Kight, and many cousins.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m, Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 9:30 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Service: 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2008 at Screven County Memorial Cemetery, Sylvania, Georgia.
